e2K made its name as one of the most exciting bands on the UK folk scene, with a formidable reputation as a live act and festival favourite, having re-invented itself from its previous incarnation as EII and the Red Hot Polkas. The original band was primarily known as a dance band but the addition of Kellie While on vocals has produced a great fusion of folk, world, jazz and dance influences. Kellie is without question one of the rising stars of the British folk movement.

"It’s got lots of subtlety bubbling on in there beneath the surface and turns out to be spectacularly hypnotic and definitely “more-ish”, with the result that, by the end of the CD, you’re spoilt for choice of just which tracks to play again immediately…the rhythmic and textural interplay is stunning." NetRhythms"This is an album that crosses a lot of barriers and the folk world should
be proud to count them (e2K) as one of their own" Folk London

"This is a supreme demonstration of multiculturalism…for the 21st century. And, like some glorious bonus, there is always the exquisite lead vocal of Kellie While, surely the greatest voice to emerge from the English folk scene since Sandy Denny" Sidney Morning Herald

"E2k make a subtle album, one that takes its time to settle on the emotions. (The track) 'Come and Join Us' is a vocal tour-de-force from Kellie While.” FRoots

• "Cross-cultural fusion bands are common these days, but few sound as natural, as effervescent and as all-round entertaining as e2K." Dirty Linen Magazine
